Looking for a drama to watch while you are relaxing at home?

Defiance is an upcoming American science fiction television series developed for television by Rockne S. O'Bannon, Kevin Murphy, and Michael Taylor. The series is being produced in collaboration with Trion Worlds who are producing a Defiance MMO video game which will be connected to the series. Defiance stars Grant Bowler as Joshua Nolan, the local lawman in a border town known as Defiance. The series will be broadcast in the United States on the cable channel Syfy, and is being produced by Universal Cable Productions.

About Defiance:

From the minds behind Battlestar Galactica and Farscape comes one of the most hotly anticipated series of 2013. After losing their star system, an alien race known as the Votans have arrived on Earth, searching for a new home. Negotiations with the humans have failed, and supplies are running low – the Votans are desperate and there’s only one thing left to do: wage war and claim Earth.

You may have already heard of it as there has been a lot of buzz generating in regards to this show because of its unique concept – not only is this a TV show, it is a game as well!

The creators behind this show have managed to merge both gaming and viewing aspects into one show so that their audiences can not only watch the show, but they can play it too. The sci-fi worlds interconnect so more of the characters and plot gets unravelled when you immerse yourself in both game and show.

Personal feelings of this movie:

This movie is an interesting sci-fi movie that not only creates a suspense that makes you feel anxious on knowing the outcome of each scene but it also creates this special feel as it co-hybrids the realistic world with the virtualistic world that there are truly creatures that exist beyond our imaginations. If you are great fan of Star Wars that features different types of species that co-exist together, you would probably like this drama too. This drama showcases different races of species that live together in protecting their town from the Votan. Each of them have different and unique personalities that make them special as well as useful in different areas of interest. They work together in helping each other to protect themselves.

I have just attended this amazing Polaroid Experience which left me leaving the event with a whole lot of knowledge that was totally new to me.

I thought I would share the whole experience with all of you too

Presenting the Polarized Sunglasses's History in the Making

Scientists were researching the phenomenon of polarization as far back as 1669 and in 1808 French military engineers and researchers in optics used a calcite rhomb to observe the principles of polarization.

In 1929 Land invented the first synthetic light polarizer and he named it “Polaroid” from “Polarizing Celluloid”. This invention was used to make the first pair of Polaroid sunglasses sold in 1935.

Edwin Herbert Land as the founding father of Polaroid who established the company from scratch has made it this far in transforming sunglasses into a whole new evolutionary change with its best known "Polaroid's Ultrasight mode" that is made with advanced Thermo-Fusion Technology.

Thanks to his great entrepreneurship as well as his supreme devotion in Science as a Scientist as well as a prolific inventor with 535 patents to his name enabled him to fuse a Polarization into sunglasses which made sunglasses the suitable partner in blocking out almost all the rays that a normal sunglasses without polarization is able to block out.

Over the years with its track record for world-changing innovation, the Polaroid corporation today is often compared to famous companies such as Apple. Steve Jobs said he felt an affinity with Land whom he described as one of his greatest heroes.

In trend currently, is the vintage designs such as the thick frames that makes it look a little "Pop-ish"

Different facial features especially the shape of your face plays a major role in finding a suitable sunglasses!

Here's a movie that might just turn your magical dreams into reality!

What caught my attention was this particular lady "Theodora & Oscar"

What's special about "Theodora?"

She has a unique style that intrigues me in anticipating the release of this movie as her actions as well as her speech is what gives her a unique personality inside the show.

She asked Oscar in the movie to "You don't know much about witches, do you?" in a professional yet highly respected tone that made her look like a mystical secretive and powerful witch.

What's special about "Oscar?"

Oscar is someone in the movie that I look forward in seeing in the movie as his determination to be more than what he could achieve and believe is what makes me believe that the impossibles are made possible as long as we try and strive for that goal.

His determination in trying to deal with any obstacles that he faces despite being a little negative at times led him through his journey with a passionate yet brave outlook which inspires anyone who watches the movie to look forward to their goals in life.

Why not all of us get our gears ready for this awesome movie that is coming to us 7th March 2013?

Movie Synopsis

Deadly Ever After 2012

Venue: Sentosa 4D Magix and Singapore Cable Car Museum

Guess all of you had your own plans for Halloween this year.

I had mine too at this amazing Deadly Ever After 2012.

We had to queue for 2 hours to enjoy the fun as there were many people attending this event during over this awesome weekend as this is the last week whereby the Halloween events are hosted.

It was worth the wait!

We took some photos in my first cable car ride in Singapore at Harbourfront Tower.

We also took several pictures with several creepy looking people while we were waiting in the queue.

Want to know why it was worthwhile after all?

They made an amazing plot from the very start of the trail right to the end of it.

At the very start of the trail, we had to do a safety check before embarking our journey into the Haunted trail to ensure that no one has any past related heart problems or asthma attack.

Immediately after the briefing, we were shocked by the appearance of a white lady that came to ask us for help to find Ah-Ling.

She passed us a "Red String"

And WARNED US to keep it safe or else the person keeping who loses the string will jeopardize the safety of the entire group.

Though it was just meant to make us more scared, it was very realistic after all.

We went pass several places such as a bride who asked us for help who was forced by another lady to marry a living dead which apparently looked like her mom.

We went pass a corner with a lady inside looking at her Jewellery and staring at us as though she was ought to scare us.

We met a lady who was told to be "Ah Ling" as someone told us to chase after her to stop her from running away. But she was no where to be found when we walked towards her direction.

We went pass a cemetery and were indeed impressed by the layout as it was very realistic and we were holding each other's hands tightly while we brave through the entire cemetery.

There were the living dead hiding behind tombstones and curtains with props lying all around that looked so real.

Due to the fact that the scary living dead that were stationed at each place looked so fake, we were shocked and terrified the moment they came to scare us as we were totally off guard as we thought they were not real at all.

We went into the hospital with nurses and dead patients lying on the beds that made us feel even more scared as it is gave us a creepy realistic feeling. The feeling is as though we are actually in a situation whereby we are indeed stuck at a hospital all alone in a group.

We even went pass this lady sitting down on the floor which was indeed creepy as she made noises to vibe up the scary atmosphere.

We ended off our journey at a photo booth and we were asked whether to purchase a photo for $15. This photo was actually taken when we were queuing up to enter the Haunted Trail.

Though it was a short journey, we apparently enjoyed it to the fullest. It was totally worthwhile!

We really enjoyed the event to the fullest and would look forward to attending more Halloween events next year.
